Kidderminster Choral Society marked their 125th anniversary in grand style, with celebrations culminating in a concert on the 30th of November featuring 125 years of English music. In the lead-up to this event, society members gathered for a gala celebration dinner at Bewdley Pines Golf Club, where the atmosphere was festive and filled with camaraderie.

Attendees enjoyed a delicious supper, participated in games, and of course, engaged in plenty of singing. The evening was animated by musical director Geoff Weaver, who led a lively music quiz, reflecting on music from across the decades. To conclude, the room was filled with joyful group singing, a true reflection of the society’s passion for music.

Caroline Lee, the society’s chair, delivered a heartfelt speech highlighting the group’s journey and accomplishments over the years. Carol Hill, who organised the evening, ran a fun quiz and was warmly thanked with a presentation of flowers.

The evening was a tremendous success, creating lasting memories for members as they looked forward to their milestone concert later in the year.
