Kidderminster Choral Society sings two concerts in celebration of the Queen’s Jubilee and to raise funds for the DEC Appeal for Ukraine. The concerts took place in Kidderminster Town Hall.
The first event was a concert on Saturday 28th May hosted by Kidderminster Male Choir, and will feature Kidderminster Choral Society and Kidderminster Valentines. The concert featured each choir singing and then all came together for a glorious ‘proms’ style finale. It was a wonderful occasion with all three of the premier Kidderminster Choirs singing together and there is already talk of a similar concert in the future.
The Platinum Jubilee Concert, hosted by Kidderminster Choral Society, will take place on Saturday 18th June, at 7pm. This will feature the voices of Kidderminster Choral Society, Wyre Forest Young Voices, Kidderminster Male Choir and Wolverhampton Chamber Choir, performing with Holborne Brass. Tickets for this event are just £10 and are available from the KCS website: www.kidderminsterchoralsociety/show-tickets/ This concert will feature music from 400 years of royal occasions and will be a fitting tribute for this landmark celebration.
Come to these concerts and celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee, help us raise funds for Ukraine and enjoy some joyous music by local singers.
